Number and person are expressed morphologicall in verbs (ju boalt, wie bale ‘she talks, we talk’). In these cases, we are confronted with context dependent inflection. The finite verb in the sentence has to agree with a subject. Saterlandic Frisian verbs show a unitary plural suffix in both the present tense and the past tense. In the present tense it is usually -e, in the past tense it is usually -en.
