The normal verb of becoming for adjectival predicates is wurde to become, but this is hardly ever used with Adposition Phrases (PPs):

1
a. *Romke wurdt yn 'e sûs
Romke becomes in the swoon
Romkegets drowsy
b. Romke rekke yn 'e sûs
Romke becomes in the swoon
Romke gets drowsy

The verb reitsje to get characteristically combines with prepositional phrases which do not have a locational interpretation:

2
a. Sa stadichoan rekke elkenien yn 'e klean
so gradually got everybody in the clothes
Gradually everybody got dressed
b. Op 't lest rekke er doch yn 'e sliep
at last got he nevertheless in the sleep
At last, however, he fell asleep

The verb reitsje to get entails a non-volitional perspective. If it combines with a locative PP, then the suggestion is that the event happened without the subject consciously planning it:

3
Sape rekke de hjerstmis nei Drachtstermerke
Sape got the autumn to Drachten.fair
Sape found himself at the fair of Drachten in the autumn

Prototypical motional verbs are komme to come and gean to go. Spatial PPs characteristically combine with these verbs and together they have a change of location as their result:

4
a. Hy giet op bêd
he goes on bed
He goes to bed
b. Hy komt fan 't bêd
he comes of the bed
He comes out of bed

These verbs also combine with bare infinitives and with to-infinitives (see Gean go (a copula of absence and transition) and Komme come).
