2.2.1.7 Finite verb

Every full sentence contains a finite verb. Finite verb forms are usually suffixed: e.g. the verb moakje (‘to make’, weak verb class II, verbal stem: moak-, see 2.2) features the following present tense paradigm: iek moakje, du moakest, hie/ju moaket, wie (jie, jo) moakje. Suffixes also show up in weak verbs class I (e.g. sätte ‘to put’) and strong verbs (e.g. sitte ‘to sit’).
