Adjectives must be head-final within their projection when used prenominally. Minimal pair for head-finality of the adjective:

1
a. ?De [op Saakje fereale] boer
the on Saakje enamored farmer
The farmer who is enamored of Saakje
b. *De [fereale op Saakje] boer
the enamored on Saakje farmer
The farmer who is enamored of Saakje

The relevant generalization is known as the Head Final Filter. If there are multiple Adjective Phrases (APs) preceding the noun, then each adjective must be final within its projection:

2
a. ?De [op Saakje fereale] [fan subsydzje ôfhinklike] boer
the on Saakje enamored of subsidy dependent farmer
The farmer who is enamored of Saakje and who is dependent on subsidy
b. *De [fereale op Saakje] [fan subsydzje ôfhinklike] boer
the enamored on Saakje of subsidy dependent farmer
The farmer who is enamored of Saakje and who is dependent on subsidy

The contrast above shows that the adjective need not be adjacent to the noun, seeing that fereale in love is not adjacent to boer farmer in the phrase that is grammatical.

In case the adjective is not used attributively, the Adposition Phrase (PP) argument can appear on either side of the adjective, as shown below:

3
a. [Op Saakje fereale] is hy net
on Saakje enamored is he not
He is not enamored of Saakje
b. [Fereale op Saakje] is hy net
enamored on Saakje is he not
He is not enamored of Saakje

Adjectives may occur in postnominal position if they are complex and if they do not bear attributive agreement. This is not any further illustrated.
