Speaker-oriented interjections are banned from embedded clauses not displaying Verb-Second, such as the following:

*Jouke hie sein godskes Ot en Sien trouwe moasten
Jouke had said gosh Ot and Sien marry moast
Jouke had said, gosh, Ot and Sien had to marry

They are found in Verb-Second clauses, regardless of whether these occur as main clauses or as UCV2s:
